New destinies

It's a wonder how we spend so much time preparing and planning for what we think our future might hold, and yet, just within a few hours it could totally change to our pleasant surprise.
We get a 360 and with that spin comes along the most unexpected change off course in our journey. Sometimes that change will bring about challenges and diversions or just simply beautiful moments, creating a new destiny that was really mapped out just for you.... A destiny that opens your heart to accepting new ventures in life, which only you can allow to happen.
Pretty much like love, when it's totally unexpected and when you're not looking.

And it might be part of a grander plan, looking back someday only to realise why your plan was not meant to be.

11) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12)Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13) You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
~ Jeremiah 29 : 11 – 13 NIV

YOU are the driver of your destiny!

The fight

Tough times dont last, TOUGH PEOPLE DO!
Ain't that just the truth!
There are so many people that go through challenging periods of their life. We all have someone close and dear to us that we have seen win and lose their battle to cancer.
It's a journey that needs all the love and support to get through everyday, every minute. You will be surprised how instrumental you can be in making their tough time lighter and easier to get through.
A prayer, a smile, a laugh, and little moments out of love could make the biggest change in their lives. To brighten up someone's day can help take away the pain and the mundane feeling that 'it's another day of this'.
If you know someone fighting through this, let them know they have your support. It's a path down life where the love you carry and share is simply a given, and unconditional. Be the strength and courage and the positive energy they need to get through the day.

When you're facing death in life, life everyday is borrowed time.

You can help! There are events that you can support, or simply donate.

Your kindness can save lives!

Timeless Romantic Classics...

~An Affair to remember~

~Casablanca~

~You've Got Mail~

~Meet Joe Black~

Quote taken from here

                                      For my love...

THE BRIGHT SIDE

Be nice
Think happy thoughts
Champion Silver linings
Love all things (not just cute things like babies and kittens)
When you do love - love like they do in power ballads
(you know like on a cliff with the wind in your hair; your eyes shut. Knowing you'll never know another love like this)
Watch out for dogpoo
Smile at people-even grumpy ones
Be nice (oh I already said that)
Remember that anything is possible ; whatever you do
always try to
Look on
the bright side

life's simplicity

It's the rare captivating moments of life that we sometimes just simply oversee, and let it pass us by.
A moment when you can actually create an impact on somone's life without really realising it until something incredible happens.

A glance, a smile, the acts of sincerity, humbleness from the heart, the little things that we take for granted from people, they're but the simple things in life that are presented to us in it's most natural form, out of kindness and love, and it's so easy to be blind to it because of our expectations that we have in life.

Sometimes we're always expecting so much more from our friendships or relationships, not realising how blessed we actually are to have the most priceless moments that already exist....memories and moments that time can never replace. Indelible moments, that become treasures of the heart.

To have little is to possess.
To have plenty is to be perplexed.

Don't let those moments pass you by....it's the kind of certainty that comes but once in a lifetime.

Someone's praying for you!

A few days ago I received a call from a very close and dear family friend. At the onset he said "Lisa, you are in my daily prayers". I was extremely touched to say the least. The thought that someone had me in their prayers everyday, meant I was being thought of everyday, touched my heart. Words could not express how greatful and blessed I felt of such a thoughtful, selfless and sincere act.

It made me realise that so often we keep family and friends in our daily prayers and thoughts without them actually realising it. How wonderful to know, and even more of a blessing when you tell them that you prayed for them today, through all the trials and tribuations!

HAVE A BLESSED DAY, and remember someone in your daily prayers!!

Thank you 2011!

It's the last day of the year! Many will be thinking of their new years resolutions, if they haven't by now. It's also time to reflect on the year that has gone by, the highs and lows, the challenges, the blessings, and life. A time to move on and start new beginnings, pursue those dreams that seem so within reach, and act upon those "great" thoughts.

Fresh and new beginnings always seem to be desired. Many say "next year will be a better year", not realizing just how good we did have it in the old year.

So as you get ready to see and welcome a new year in, don't forget to be thankful for the wonderful, successful, inspired and awesome year that you've had.
May 2012 be everything you desire it to be, and may you never lose focus of those inner dreams...nothing is impossible to achieve if you keep your eye on the end result. It's the journey of getting to your destination that is most fulfilling.

Have a Happy, healthy, blessed and safe end to 2011!

May you and your families be blessed with an abundance of love and light, good health, joy, happiness and peace in 2012! God bless you all.

Be safe and be kind, and most of all appreciate and enjoy life!

Have an Awesome and Happy New Year!!!

Enjoy life!!

Far too often we're always worrying about what tomorrow will bring, and we forget, or rather neglect, appreciating what today actually holds for us. We're busy saving for a rainy day, saving for that house we're going to buy one day, kids college funds, and rightfully so...we need to be realistic as well!!
We need to find the time to enjoy our lives just as much, because we don't know when the day will come when we won't see tomorrow.
Write a list of things you would like to do, maybe a bucket list, be spontaneous, and just go with it, without any doubts. The rewards of happiness are immense and immeasurable, and maybe it's not that fancy house or car that you want, but the wealth of memories is priceless, and something that will live forever in your heart. Material things come and go, they have a warranty on it, and the novelty wears off eventually until something new comes along.

So if its someone that you've been trying to find an excuse to ask out on a coffee date, or a dream holiday (within your wallet range off course), what's stopping you!! Don't live to have regrets, or worry about the woulda's, coulda's or what if's. In a few years time, it might be the greatest memory of your life, or just a glimpse of something wonderful that actually happened!!

Take time to appreciate the finer things around you, nature at it's finest and best, find time for loved ones and neglected ones. Appreciate what you have, and the moment you're about to complain about how bad you might have it, remember there's always someone out there having it a million times worse. Don't blame the world for your problems, you are your problems and your solutions. You have the power to strengthen and encourage others, and believe in yourself!! You are instrumental in who you are and who you can be. Break the cycle and make a difference!

Be kind!!! Be yourself, and spread the love!!! Remember :your wealth of material value does not define you!

                                 Enjoy Life!!
Anything you want bad enough, is worth the chance!!

Have an awesome and blessed December !

The Prince of Romance......Richard Clayderman

Born Philippe Pagés (28 December 1953), Richard Clayderman is a world renowned French pianist of easy listening, classical, jazzy and romantic music. He became most famous for his recording of  "Ballad pour Adeline" in 1976 which was composed for the daughter of a French record producer Paul de Senneville and partner Olivier Toussaint. This ballad went on to become world acclaimed and popular selling more than 20 million copies in 38 countries. He is very popular in Asia, performing around 200 concerts worldwide, out of 250 days. He is an inspiration to young and old encouraging the love of music through piano playing, and the appreciation of classic and jazzy music. His French accent coupled with his sincerity ( and good looks ) no doubt is enough to capture the hearts of many. Watching him perform is like watching his hands glide over silk....ever so captivating and enrapturing.                                                                 Picture from here

Don't forget....PLEASE AND THANKYOU!!

They are probably two of the next important words, after greetings, that people tend to translate when visiting another country. It's just human nature, kindness and social etiquette.  They maybe little and simple words but they carry much weight in meaning. Sometimes people tend to forget to use these little words. It's a part of manners and etiquette that we are taught as kids and that we ought to teach our kids.

Respect begets respect. Make a difference and be the change you want to see!!

Be polite and be nice to people :))

      DON'T FORGET ........        PLEASE & THANKYOU!!!
